The barbershop has traditionally been a cis-male and heteronormative space, but at Kindred Kuts, we believe you’ll find your tribe. We’re a queer-friendly barbershop in Amsterdam, offering high-quality, gender-affirming haircuts for everyone, no matter how they identify. Hey, I’m Gray (Gray/they/she) — the barber and brain behind Kindred Kuts. I’ve been cutting hair since 2017, creating a space where queer folk and friends can feel comfortable, celebrated, and leave looking sharp. I love working with all textures and styles, but I’m especially into fades, Afro and Asian hair, curly/wavy hair, thick and thinning hair, big chops, and creative designs.
"Kindred" means one's family or relatives, people you’re related to. Your kindred are your people, so whether you need hair care or hair flair, we got you.
Nyla/She/Her
I’m Nyla, and I am excited to work with you to achieve your hair dreams. I will work with you to create a unique color and style to match your ideas, identity, and lifestyle. I have been a hairstylist for 15 years, so I have the experience and education to make your hair as unique as you are.
I am a fantastic all-rounder, but I love doing colors from the rainbow the most. My specialties include color on all lengths and textures of hair, shags/wolf cuts, curly cuts, and short hairstyles.
